Numerous ToxServices staff are board-certified in toxicology and have additional professional accreditations demonstrating their expertise, including staff who are European Registered Toxicologists or Fellows of the Society of Biology.

The professionals at ToxServices serve on national standards committees, including those related to Indoor Air Quality Standards, Drinking Water Standards, and ASTM Sustainability Standards.

ToxServices staff are widely published on topics relating to human and ecological risk assessment methods, chemical alternatives assessment methods, carbon footprinting, sustainability related issues, advances in chemical mixtures risk assessment and technology, water sanitation, and application of the Threshold of Toxicological Concern.

ToxServices LLC is a woman owned and operated small business focused on toxicological and risk assessment consultancy. The company was founded in 2003 by Dr. Margaret H. Whittaker, who now operates as ToxServices’ Managing Director and Chief Toxicologist. Since its inception, the Washington, D.C.-headquartered company has grown in size and expertise, with offices in Washington, D.C. and Ann Arbor, Michigan as well as professionals located across North America and the United Kingdom. Clients are located across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
